However, the author has moved on and does not want the stigma of abuse to follow him to his grave.

Following is a short synopsis by the writer himself:

The book was laid out to explain my own experiences growing up under such unique circumstances and culminates with my mother's greatest triumph; the isolation, dehumanization and eventual death of my father when I was in my late teens; it would be several more years of literal hell on earth before I was able to make my escape, and I almost didn't! The book does not seek to provide a reason for my mother's behavior, but provides enough information for the reader to reach their own conclusions. The words never indicate that my mother is mentally unstable. It paints a true picture of the wanton lack of compassion for any human being but herself. A person so devoid of feeling that no evil is unthinkable so long as it benefits her. It is not an unkind or biased appraisal, even written by someone who has gone through it, but a fair, balanced and honest one. The book is a true story. Every event related happened and the biographies of those involved are correct. The abuse related serves to illustrate and liberate, rather than to thrill.
